First off, if you are new to AP, welcome to AP! This short and to-the-point guide will help you find your way around here. If you are a veteran member, this guide would still be useful nonetheless. This guide is NOT the same as the AP Guide. Nothing can replace the AP Guide. Think of it as an instruction manual you would read when you buy a new product.

1. Read the AP Guide. It is a essential that you read this guide to understand AP.
a) Don't understand certain parts of guide? Contact an Administrator or Moderator of the AP Staff group.

2. If you haven't already registered at AP yet, then you can register here.
a) Keep in mind that only alphanumeric characters are allowed. You can use a hyphen, but it cannot be in the beginning of your username.

3. Remember to introduce yourself to other AP members in the Introduction forum!
a) The sticky in the Introduction forum also contains links to language-specific groups if you aren't good at English.

4. Before creating a thread in the forum, remember to read the Thread Guidelines first. If you have any questions regarding anything in the guide, contact ^pink-sakura.
a) The music request forum is for requesting a song, but be sure to read Request Guidelines so your thread won't be closed!
b) The music forum is for posting songs to share, but be sure to read the Guidelines so your thread won't be closed.

5. Do you have a wallpaper you created but not sure where to find some good critiques for it? Search no more. We have our Session Zero to fulfill that need.

6. Did you encounter a problem, perhaps a bug, while browsing AP?
a) Read this thread and this thread as well first to see if your questions can be answered there.
b) If not, report that problem to us in the Problems and Suggestions forum.

7. Did you just watch an anime or read a manga, and just want to talk about it all day long but can't seem to find other people who share that interest? You can check out AP Groups to find a group dedicated to that interest.

8. You want to download a wallpaper, right? Wallpapers don't cost any papers, but to ensure that you can keep downloading wallpapers, you need to participate!
a) You can participate by posting on the forums.
b) Or commenting on other people's wallpapers. Instead of just click and download, why don't you take the time to let the waller know what you think about their wall?
c) If participation isn't your forte, then you can donate to us. Remember: you only receive 1000 papers for every dollar donated over $5!
d) You can also take up walling yourself if you're up to it! Or if you have some artbooks lying around, you can scan them and submit them our gallery!
